Comfortable training clothes
In order for you to feel comfortable when you train, the first, and perhaps most important point, is to choose comfortable training clothes. To find the garments and materials that you primarily enjoy training in. Of course, there are advantages with functional materials, tight fits and the garment's functions. But if you do not find the garments comfortable, it is secondary. Some like it when it is tight and keep things in place while others want airy and loose-fitting training clothes. A third does not care so much about comfort or has such strong premises regarding what is nice, then you can put on basically any training clothes.

Functional clothing
There are many advantages to wearing functional clothing when you train, both indoors and outdoors. The materials in these training garments mean that moisture and sweat are transported from the body so that you can stay dry and comfortable even for a while into the training session. For outdoor training, the functional clothing also means that you retain some heat closest to the body so that you get as comfortable a temperature as possible.
Today, everything you need for training is made of moisture-transporting material, even special panties and underpants for training. Functional garments also often reduce the risk of chafing and that the clothes crease.

Start from your training
A good tip when choosing training clothes is to start from its purpose, ie to the type of training you buy training clothes for. In fact, it can be more or less crucial to your performance or potential. For high-intensity, a tighter model of training tights in a harder material and a sports bra with more support may be required. Unlike if you do movement training, yoga or core training, then mobility is more important to allow complete movements. You never want a pair of tights that fall off when you run or do crossfit, the same applies to low-intensity training and movement training. Then you do not want to be limited by a garment's length, fit or model or get chafed by details such as seams or pockets.

Real sportswear
To obtain high quality, buy clothes that last a long time and a security regarding functions and materials, it is a good idea to buy real sportswear. At HQ Sportwear and in other stores in the sports industry, there are often the really quality products as well as the knowledge and experience to help you find the right one. Today, several of the larger fashion houses also have collections in training. And of course, these training clothes can be affordable and stylish, but often the quality in the long run is not as high as in the sports industry.
No matter how superficial it may sound, it is important for many to, in addition to comfort, also feel good when exercising. With better self-confidence, you may even be able to lift a few more pounds or run a few seconds faster. Some like very patterned and colorful training clothes while others prefer a more stylish and stripped-down training outfit.
A couple of trends that are strong are the tights with a high waist in combination with a shorter t-shirt, crop top or just a sports bra. Another trend is to wear a classic training outfit in muted colors and pick up a matching color of e.g. details on the tights, training shoes or straps on the sports top.

Avoid cotton
As we mentioned earlier, functional clothing of various kinds is recommended for activities of various kinds. Training clothes in cotton, on the other hand, are a big no-no. Cotton garments quickly get wet and heavy from body moisture and sweat and take a long time to dry and return to their original condition. You often also feel trapped in a sweaty t-shirt in cotton, which also inhibits freedom of movement if you compare the comfort with the mobility of a t-shirt in functional material. If you train outside and if it is cold outside, the moisture from the cotton garments cools down your body and you can not perform at the top.
